"A New Diva is Crowned"
Congratulations to Bubbles Champagne, Miss Louisiana Leatherette
2011!
On Saturday, August 14th, outgoing
titleholder Cathy Fox gave up her sash as The Lords of Leather crowned
Ms. Louisiana Leatherette 2011 at JohnPaul's. Congratulations to
Miss Bubble Champagne who took the crown and the honor to represent the
krewe throughout the year. Miss Amanda Straddle was first runner
up.
Miss
Louisiana Leatherette 2011 takes a tongue in cheek look at gay leather
pageantry and will be a delightful evening for all. The contest is open
to all "Artist/Entertainers" who wish to present their best with a
leather twist. The contest is open to all gay, straight, transgendered,
male, female, bisexual, those in transition... you get the message,
ANYBODY! Past contestants have included participants from every
gender/label imaginable...and a few we wondered about...
The
krewe wished to thanks Tittie Toulouse for serving as Emcee for show.
Judges for the evening were Cathy Fox, Jay Cooper, Ed Pujol, Opal
Masters, and Savanna DeLorean as Chris. Thanks to everyone who
helped produce this evening of fun and entertainment. More
